Hello fellow Human, or bot. Welcome to my website, which intends to keep a record of my leisure projects.
I am physicist by training, and a data scientist by trade, with focus on Natural Language Processing and Information Extraction. I also enjoy programming, web design, and tinkering with electronics.
I received my Ph.D. in Physics at New York University, on High Energy Experimental Particle Physics, under the supervision of Professor Allen Mincer. My research focused on background reduction in searches for physics beyond the Standard Model, in particular Supersymmetric models with large number of jets, and data-driven studies of the Total Transverse Momentum triggers at the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (CERN). I practice Shotokan Karate, play the guitar and paint (a little).
